This Colombian artist specializes in hyperrealism, which was inspired by his early love of comic books and video games, including Mario Bros and Street Fighter. At a young age Carlox began drawing and painting the blank walls of his room. His artistic awakening grew when his friend showed Carlox his new tattoo.
After seeing this particular tattoo he created his first rustic tattoo machine and began practicing. Little did he know that this interesting art form would become his career. Carlox currently splits his time between Radiant Ink Lab in California and Subterranea Tattoo, in Colombia.
